Account linking: Minecraft

If you have multiple Minecraft accounts, you may link them in order to share characters, permissions, or other information across compatible plugins.

In order to link a Minecraft account, on your main account, before logging onto your alternate account, use /account link minecraft [username]

This will create a link request that is received when you join on your alternate account. This will show a message that asks you to confirm or deny the link. If there are multiple requests, these will all be shown on first logon.

Account linking: IRC

If your server has chat linked to an IRC server, you can link your profile with your IRC account. In order to do this, use /account link irc [nick] while online on IRC in one of the channels linked to the server.

If a plugin is available that provides a connection to IRC (for example, rpk-chat-bukkit), and you are online on the IRC server, your IRC account will be linked.

Account linking: Discord

If your server has chat linked to a Discord server, you can link your profile with your Discord account; In order to do this, use /account link discord [username], making sure to include your Discord diversifier (so, for example, /account link discord alyphen#1503). If the user exists on Discord and the bot can message you (make sure your DM settings allow this!), you will receive a message asking you to approve the link. React to the message with the tick emoji (the bot will add one so you can click it) and your Discord account will be linked to your profile.

Linking your Discord account to your profile means that you can use any permissions or prefixes that are linked with your profile from Discord.

Changing profile name

Your profile is used to link all of your Minecraft profiles together. The name of your profile is initially set to your Minecraft username. You can, however, change your profile name (for example, to the username of another one of your Minecraft profiles). To do this, use the /profile name [name] command.

Changing profile password

Your profile has a password that is used to authenticate via the web (for example, if your server has a web page that allows you to perform bank transactions, or modify your characters.) In order to change your password (and use it to log in to the web UI), use /profile password [password].
