Money may be shown as a physical or a digital currency, or both. Different servers may provide different means of doing this. In order to see your current balance, you may use /money view. In order to see the physical items, you may use /wallet.
In order to transfer money digitally, you may use the /money pay command. This may be limited by distance from other characters. For physical money, when you open your wallet, you can move money into your inventory or give it to other players, or place money into your wallet received from other players. Items other than money may not be placed in your wallet.
Exchanges allow you to exchange one currency for another. There are two types of exchanges available: static exchanges, and dynamic exchanges. Static exchanges are represented by signs beginning with [exchange]. They exchange money between currencies at a set rate. Right-clicking a static exchange sign will exchange from the first currency to the second at the given rate. Dynamic exchanges are represented by signs beginning with [dynexchange]. Their rate fluctuates based on the supply and demand for a given currency. Dynamic exchanges are location-dependent and do not affect the exchange rate globally. Right-clicking on a dynamic exchange will exchange from the first currency to the second, and left-clicking will exchange from the second to the first.
You may set the balance of the active character of a player by using /money set, /money add or /money subtract. These directly affect the balance of the character without affecting your own.
Static exchange signs have the following format:
[exchange]
<amount> <from currency>
for
<to currency>
They use the exchange rate provided when setting up the currency.
Dynamic exchange signs have the following format:
[dynexchange]
<amount> <from currency>
for
<amount> <to currency>
Their values will change as people exchange currencies to and from them.
