I'm going through the installation process now. I just selected my own Electrum (romanz/electrs) server and tested the connection. After clicking Next from that screen, I get a bunch of the below log messages from electrs:

Feb 23 09:05:42 cryptopi electrs[4157]: [2025-02-23T17:05:42.323Z INFO electrs::electrum] your wallet uses less efficient method of querying electrs, consider contacting the developer of your wallet. Reason: blockchain.scripthash.get_history called for unsubscribed scripthash

Looks like there are about 1235 log messages with that same message. They kept repeating for about 8 minutes, but then they stopped and I'm now at this screen

So I believe this is a non-blocking issue -- but I figured I'd share it because I didn't see another issue for it.

Thanks for creating Liana!

Edit: Looks like about 50-100 of these log messages get spit out every few minutes or so while Liana is running. I'll flag this with the romanz/electrs project folks too.

The message above from @parlelit looks like phishing / spam. I'm not contacting them.

Message I'm referring to in case it gets deleted or changed:

@crcastle Thank you for reaching out! For further assistance, please feel free to send us an email at [email protected] . We're here to help!

Edit: I have reported that account as a phishing account to GitHub.

@crcastle thanks for reporting issue, it's a known issue, not really a bug but a poor implementation performance-wise on the bdk electrum client we actually using, afaik there is some work on bdk side to implementing a new client that will use notifications of electrum protocol, and its should solve this issue.

Ok thanks @pythcoiner for the update. Not sure how you manage GH issues in this repo, but feel free to close this issue or keep it open. Regardless, it's not a blocker for me, and as you said it's not a bug... So maybe label it as a potential enhancement?

Sorry you have to deal with the scams. That's a pain, but I guess it's not unusual for money related stuff.
