add back original v0.6 features

Some distributed git issues caused our original version 0.6 to be lost. So the version 0.6 in this list contained new features and should have been version 0.7.

This release brings back the features from the original version 0.6 and combines them with the features from the new version 0.6 to create version 0.7.

Update to fix update and delete functions

The update and delete functions haven't really been used, and the underlying API has since changed. This updates those functions to match the API.
