Learning materials for using Customizer and Linux remastering. If these are not useful, self-learning with trials and errors could be your best teacher.

Basic workflow using Customizer

  1. Download an Ubuntu Image.
  2. Customize your image using Customizer. Eg. use the Customizer terminal to install/remove packages.
  3. Choose rebuild if you want to update and overwrite the *.iso file or choose extract if you want to generate a new one.
  4. Use Ubuntu's Startup Disk Creator to create your bootable USB-stick.

Warning: When using Startup Disk Creator, note that newer releases of Ubuntu ISO image are incompatible to be used with older releases of Startup Disk Creator--bug 1325801
