How to help

1. Help others in anyway

If you have experienced using Customizer and want to help this project, consider leaving useful comments for any open issues for everyone's reference. You can also create a new issue to give suggestions on how to help others.

2. Report bugs and submit fixes

To report bugs, create a new issue by following this guideline. To submit fixes, first you need to fork the repository (usually master branch) and commit your fix there. Finally make a pull request, which will be reviewed and merged upon confirmation.

3. Improve the Wiki

This project heavily relies on GitHub Wiki as main resource. While the Wiki may be relevant for now, eventually some resources will get outdated. This project is missing decent tutorials and manuals for users; The developer notes are similarly poor.

4. Provide translations

You can translate Customizer from English into your native language. You can either submit as new issue with the link to translation files, or fork the repository and make pull request, or send the translation files itself to [email protected].

English [en] is the default language in Customizer. So far it has been translated into these languages: Bulgarian [bg], Korean [ko].

How to join

If you are interested to maintain Customizer, leave a comment under this issue #70. For more information, contact the development team members in the contributor list.
