Julia for MATLAB Users Workshop

Welcome!

Before you arrive at the workshop, please do the following:

• Make sure you have git and GitHub set up with authentication
• Set up Julia
  • Download Julia v1.7.2 here
  • Add Julia to PATH if setup doesn’t do that automatically
  • Test that Julia is added to PATH by opening a new terminal and entering julia
  • Follow these instructions to add our internal package registry
• Set up VSCode
  • Download VSCode here
  • Open the Extensions tab on the left, search for and install the “Julia” extension
