AHLTA Web Redesign
DESCRIPTION
A prototype created to demonstrate the use of five out of 14 AHLTA modules redesigned by Parsons Institute for Information Mapping (PIIM), in a web-based environment using the Patient Ancillary Web Services (PAWS).
The GUI framework/technology prototype contains the following key attributes, elements, and components:
- Built entirely in Ajax and JavaScript utilizing HTML and CSS 3 and integrated components from a. Major, open-source JavaScript libraries.
- Enabled integration with the Java Portlet specification.
- GUI components were compartmentalized to allow dynamic loading and unloading of modules.
- Enabled connection to the PAWS system to run AHLTA functionalities.
