Airstrips are remote landing locations in the middle of wilderness areas around Kerbin. They have limited facilities available. They can be used to refuel aircraft, but because of their remote locations they sell fuel at very high prices.
The typical airstrip is a single small runway and attached facilities. Navigation tools are provided by the Kerbin Aviation Administration (KAA) however they offer only the rudimentary features. Flight plans only from the IAF marker and no indications of outer markers or other beacons.
