Thank you for this amazing product. I've created a README_JA.md since I want this tool to be widely used in Japan as well.

I hope this helps make VideoCaptioner more accessible to Japanese users!

@philpw99
Thank you very much! By the way, does it seem like development on this repository has been discontinued? Is that why you forked it and are continuing the development?

Will you help me do the translation ? I want my program to show all Japanese as well.

Let me check the code

To edit your language is very easy, but you need to install the QT first, with at least minimum installation.
https://www.qt.io/download-dev

The Japanese language is not setup yet, once I set it up, you just need to run the "translation_update.bat", then "translation_edit.bat" to edit the translation. My program has a mix of Chinese and English, you probably need to load them both to know what those sentences mean.

This repo is under development, it's just not as rapid as it used to be. I myself knows the feeling. Right now, my own fork is undergoing a rapid development, but once it's stable and works fine, my coding will slow down as well.

Update: Now the Japanese language is set. Please clone the whole fork and under the "source" folder, run the "translation_edit.bat". You don't need to run Visual Studio Code or any Python IDE. Just QT Linguist inside "C:\QT"
