Improvements

  • Changed the way mods are created (REMOVAL OF RAW METHOD)
  • Tray Icon now has a Close button
  • Added a setting which toggles whether Fantome minimizes to tray or to the taskbar
  • The League process patcher has been updated and now supports Windows 7, 8, 8.1 and is also able to send logging messages to Fantome
  • Improved overall stability
  • Fantome will now automatically uninstall all mods on startup if it detects that League has been updated. This prevents stability and mod compatibility issues
  • Better logging

Bug fixes

  • Fixed some bugs which occurred when users would change the location of League

  • Migrated project to .NET 5
  • Added detection for Wine

Known Issues

  • There appears to be an issue with the creation of the League Index which causes Fantome to crash on startup.
    This has been addressed in this update by changing the method Fantome searches for WAD files in the Game folder. However, logging has been improved specifically for this issue, so if it does appear, then please create an Issue in this repository and attach the relevant log file.

Using the non-portable release requires you to have .NET 5.0 Desktop Runtime installed!
