The vtysh commands save the configuration in the `/etc/frr/frr.conf` file. For example:

You can set the convergence timer to override the default amount of time BGP waits to expand the ECMP path when it receives a SOO route. This setting lets you dampen the SOO route updates BGP receives from peers especially in a high ECMP topology and helps to reduce churn.

You can set a value between 5 and 1000 milliseconds. The default value is 50.

To set the convergence timer:
