This should also allow us to use JRegistry to handle the data rather than the less than savoury cesspit that is my views at the moment (https://github.com/wilsonge/Download-Grapher/blob/development/com_jjdownloads/admin/views/jjdownloads/tmpl/default.php#L15:L64 - eughhh)
