I have used Web-CAT on a local server for 10 years or more. My IT department is hounding me to update the server to a new one. However, when I go to install Web-CAT on the new server, it never seems to update to the newest version.
Hmmm ... I wonder if it is because the update server now uses https. I'll take a look. Also, if moving to a new server, would docker-based deployment be useful for you? I'm not sure if we can have that ready in the next week or two, but we've been working on it and it should be possible to set it up that way.

I updated to the "newest" Bootstrap.jar that is under https://web-cat.org/projects/Web-CAT/UpdateBootstrapJar.html. Is there some alternative way to update?
