App seems to be janky and laggy when scrolling.
Also (this may not be a issue caused by Amethyst) if you edit your profile (display & username, bio, website, lightning address) none of it seems to carry over when signing in with a different client.

The app does a LOT in the background. Will try to minimize computing...

I think you might be on to something with the unlimited profile image sizes you mentioned in Nostr. A lazy loading cache of compressed copies (resized thumbnails) of the images could possibly help, possibly worse if not also optimized? Low priority background thread might work out.

This seems like a big challenge.
