I tried creating 2 VHD files and setting them up in Ventoy. The first VHD is dynamic and is 400GB in size, the 2nd VHD is fixed and 65GB in size. I tried to install as much stuff on each VHD to fill it up in space so only a few Gigabytes were left. I then rebooted into each VHD after to see how long it will take to boot up and its performance. Using a seagate external HDD of 500GB for this ventoy VHD test.
Both of them took a little longer than a normal Windows 10 installation on a computer to boot up but once it was booted up the speed and performance was just as good as running Windows on the computer itself.
Is there a way to increase the boot up speed of Windows on a ventoy VHD?
