This tutorial need some fixes. This issue arose from the tutorial review issue, trufflesuite/issue-target-tmp#1.

Issues To Fix

  • Change this to an updated Truffle version (or make it evergreen?)! The tutorial still works on Truffle v5 so this shouldn't be too complicated.
  • node-pre-gyp warning in Node v10 when doing truffle unbox webpack, the box may need updating
  • default development network should be changed -- it is now 8545 and not 7545
  • references to truffle build should be removed, as we are deprecating the command
