I've noticed that a few people have starred this - I'm glad that you've found interest in this little package I've built up here!

I wanted to share a couple notes about what this package is, and what its future is:

What the Package Is

Please check out the README for a bit of a more full overview, but here are the main points:

• A Unity Package meant to make certain accessibility features available simply by plugging in the package and light configuration.
• A way for small indie developers and game jam participants to quickly and easily add accessibility features into their Unity games
• Currently supports Remappable Controls (only with the Unity Input System Package) and Screen Reader support.

Future of the Package

I would love to start putting more time into this. It started as a school project, but I always wanted it to grow into something usable.

I'm currently working on contributions to the Unity Test Runner GitHub Action, which is taking up a lot of my time, but after I'm finished with that contribution, I'll be able to effectively unit test this package, which will help assure quality, at which point I'll take on some of these tasks:

• Publishing an installer for this package to the Unity Asset Store (which I think could be possible via Editor Scripting, somehow)
• Tweak remappable controls to work without the Input System
• Increase quality of examples
• Reach out to accessibility publications to help give the package some exposure

I would absolutely love if anyone stumbling across this repo has any notes, feature requests, or potential contributions! I'm very interested in growing this project, and would welcome any discussion 😄
