Unable to find La-Mulana save directory #122

I'm not one of the devs, but first thing that comes to mind: Have you run La-Mulana (and maybe saved a game) since installing it on the current machine? Save directory might not be created yet, and at least some options require the randomizer to create a starting save to load instead of letting you pick New Game. |

Sorry for the immediate follow-up: I unselected "Randomize starting location" based off of what you mentioned and that seems to have fixed it. I'd like to play with a random start at some point, but am glad it is at least playable now! Thank you! |
In the image, there doesn't seem to be a save file directory entered. It seems strange that it hasn't auto-populated, but maybe you have an unusual location. Traditionally, the Windows save directory is under Documents, so it should be something like

I just downloaded the randomizer for the first time and went through all the settings. When I click 'Apply' I get an error message that says "Unable to find La-Mulana save directory". I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the game but have no ideas past that. Any advice would be greatly appreciated! I am running on Java SE 16
