Right now, splits uploaded are not verified. It would be nice to parse the splits to see if they contain:

  • Game name
  • Category name
  • At least 1 split
  • At least 1 run

and show an error if that's not the case.

Also, the splits can show the user's layout directory on their computer ( D:\User\OTHER\LiveSplit Splits\Layouts\main backup.lsl). If it's possible, strip that from the file before sending to the server.
