Upstream issue: rlane/ncursesw-ruby#2, see error in: https://travis-ci.org/5long/sup/jobs/5918964. Brought up in issue #16.

I think this is the only thing stopping an 1.8 release, if we go for ncurses-ruby as @5long suggested we can push out a new release for both 1.8 and 1.9 pretty soon I think. Then take some more time to get the other stuff back on track for ruby 2.0, switching to psych, getting maildir support and the rest specified in the roadmap.

I'll put up a branch doing this so we can test it on various Linux distros and Mac.

What about just forking our own version of it, and get rid of it when the rest of the ncurses gems get their act together.. ?

Good idea.

I'll just fork ncursesw-ruby since all we have to do is just fixxing the date format in gemspec (well, hopefully).
