Use something like SQL.js to support Windows?

https://github.com/kripken/sql.js/ is a compilation of SQLite to asm.js and could be used run SQLite in a WebView. This could make it many times easier to use SQLite in Windows 10/UWP. Unfortunately SQL.js does not seem to dynamically save the changes to a file system and would have to be adapted or perhaps even redesigned.
