Hello there and thank you for all the effort you're putting in making this beautiful editor.

I was wondering if you could modify the comments and text colour in Spyder dark themes for those who are dichromatic colour blind and set up a black/grey/white version for colour blinds?

I know I can set it up myself (as I always do), but it would be great if such product comes with features like these :D

Hi @laniakea sorry for the late response and thank you for the feedback! So, if I'm understanding correctly, you mean like defining some new variations of default dark syntax highlighting themes that accommodate to colour blindness needs, right? Let us know!

Also, what do you think @spyder-ide/core-developers ?

@laniakea, I'm also colorblind. However, I've not had any issues with the current Spyder Dark theme. Nevertheless, I think adding a preset "Syntax highlighting theme" for colorblind users would be a welcome addition. Perhaps if you "Create a new scheme" in the Appearance preferences and submit it, we could review it for inclusion in the default list of "Syntax highlighting theme"s
