My current focus is Mending Wall, a Linux app for hopping between multiple desktop environments without theme issues or cluttered menus.
I develop open source software full time from Bangkok. Currently:
- Working on new apps to improve the Linux desktop experience, such as Mending Wall. (Happy New Year of the Linux Desktop!)
- Maintaining developer tools such as Doxide.
- Contributing to other open source projects with pull requests (e.g. Rclone, Libre Menu Editor).
- Blogging interesting things along the way at indii.org.
I have over 25 years of software development experience across industry and academia, including high performance computing, machine learning, apps, web, and backend. I believe in tidy code, well written documentation, a user first focus, and that performance is not an after thought.
My previous Linux applications (way back!) include the photo effect apps Tintii and Urban Lightscape. Machine learning and statistics work includes the probabilistic programming languages Birch and LibBi, and developer tools include Doxide, a modern documentation generator for C++.
It's all open source. Sponsorships are appreciated to help me continue this line of work.

Linux distributions offer a choice of desktop environment, but installing more than one can break themes and clutter menus. Mending Wall fixes this.
