PostgreSQL rather than MySQL?

@rrrene Where are you planning to host this? If on Heroku, it might be a better choice to use Postgres for development just to ensure parity.

Hi, yeah ... What can I say 😋 There are technical reasons, since the box I have at my disposal supports MySQL.

If this project ever takes off in a way that said machine would not suffice, I will gladly switch to Postgres. Guess that would be the kind of problem you actually want to face 👍

Did you ever have to set a different MySQL socket for your project, @rrrene?
Checking out your project(congrats!).
What I have for MySQL is MAMP Pro.
Tried to figure out how to do it in Phoenix but so far no luck.
