Groups mapping in auth strategies

Hi!
Quick questions: if the groups returned by the auth method (for example, Oauth2) doens't contains "administrators" for a user, does it mean user will lost his admin access on WikiJS?
Our auth platform doesn't have any administrators role, we just bind the role to the relevant people on WikiJS. I just saw #5899 (comment) and it seems to confirm admin role is removed if not present in user's auth group.
