I don't know if this is the correct venue for raising this issue but is there a way to find out the direction of this tooling for the Rancher ecosystem? There's many ways to maintain clusters (Terraform, Crossplane, Cluster API, etc) and most of those tooling come with hefty amount of documentation as well as community support both on Rancher Slack and CNCF. I feel like Rancher Template could also benefit from both for friendlier adoption of the tooling. Let me know if there is such a medium. I'm also happy to help if I can (self promoting a MR).
Cheers,
Jason

Thank you for bringing this up and for working on your PR/MR!! I definitely understand your perspective and there is a lot of tooling out there. I like to compare cluster-templates to fleet due to the fact that it is already built into the rancher ecosystem and unlocks of power within it.
Let me take this back to the team and get an answer for you!
Thanks! So related to the earlier question somewhat... are there sane values that we can use to get started for addons ()monitoring) and CNI (preferably Cilium)?
Thanks for clearing up my misunderstanding around question.yaml and closing that MR.
I just wanted to echo my question around managedchart.yaml - are those charts expected to work? Do you have any examples for cilium or even rke2-cilium charts?
Just having a pathing forward on rke2-cilium / cilium / or even just CNI charts would be monumental for having demonstratable production-ready rancher cluster templates here at ESnet.
