  • Device model: Google Pixel Fold 9
  • Android version: 15

Problem:
I am trying to run Pokemon Black Blaze (A rom hack) but it won't run.
It just opens and shows a white screen. No error or anything else.
It however runs on Retroarch (MelonDS), which makes me think it is an issue with the emulator itself.

I can provide the patched nds file if needed.
I've added the nds firmware and other games (even Pokemon Black 2 Blaze) and they work.

This seems to be an issue with melonDS itself and not specific to the Android port.
See melonDS-emu/melonDS#1929

@rafaelvcaetano They also say it's fixed with nightly builds. I'm using the nightly MelonDS build for android without much luck :(

The game works perfectly fine without the Rom Hack which is the weird bit and it does work on RetroArch using the MelonDS Core (Although I really don't like Retroarch).

I also tried both a Platinum Rom hack and a Black 2 Rom hack from the same person and only Black/White seems to be an issue

Looking at other threads, some people say it is due to an issue with the infra-red emulation. It there any way to disable it maybe?

What version of MelonDS does the Android port runs?
