  • Device model: Samsung Galaxy A16 5G SM-S166V
  • Android version: Android 14

Problem:
The game list is inconsisten, some games in the directory just not showing up, and sometimes the bios not booting at all. If it does, sometimes it show no game in cart.

Steps to reproduce (if applicable):

  1. Open melonds
  2. Make sure ds games are loaded in bios and not just quickloaded
  3. Reload game list. Some may not show up.
  4. open a game. In the bios, the game may not be in the cart.
Add screenshots if the issue can be visualized.

Pokemon black and white are missing from this list, but show up on retroarch

Secondary issue, if the roms aren't named a certain way, the icons do not show and they aren't treated as said rom. As a result they will not be found for retroachievments.

To me, this all indicates bad ROM files or bad dumps. Do these ROMs that don't appear work on RetroArch?
RetroAchievements availability is a bit weird. Sometimes, there are only achievements for a ROM of a specific region. For example, some US ROMs have achievements, but the EU ROM of the same game may not.

They work perfectly fine on retroarch.
Even worse, since posting this, random roms seem to work on and off. I patched newer Super Mario bros DS over my New super mario bros ds rom and it worked at first but the next day it stopped working and the rom could no longer be read. Pokemon black had been working on and off and when I finally got it to stay on the list, the save file seems to not work. What I mean by this Is once I completely close melonds, the save file is treated blank upon opening the game again, despite existing WITH data when I looked at the actual file.
