We don't have any parameters for an aged cell. But what you could do is cycle a fresh cell until you reach 80% initial capacity, and then run the model with the second use cycling profile. This notebook shows the various tools you need for this (i.e. termination conditions, starting solution...). |

Hello,
I mean to use PyBAMm for simulating degradation for a second life/retired battery. The idea is to run a particular battery model on a drive cycle until 80%SOH and then continue to run the model according to second use charge/discharge pattern (e.g. stationary storage in grid). My question is: Can this be done? Will it be realistic somewhat. I know the second use degradation is heavily dependent on first use scenario/data. Can PyBAMm capture those dynamics. If yes then what about the parameters to be used. All third part parameters are for fresh cells. Thankyou
