Multis in Fiddler looks good, but in game its become broken #100
Comments
@Tibald It's a bit hard to reproduce. It looks like so on my machine: I'm using client 7.0.15 as this one has only multis. I've tried the latest from uo but it looks like the client is reading from multicollectionuop so no matter what I edit it stills shows me old multi. I don't have anything that packs the multicollectionuop around so I'll have to look for a tool. But I've compared exported txt files from Multis tab in different versions and they all look ok. Do you import on multieditor tab or Multi tab in fiddler? How do you pack multi into multicollection.uop in that client? |
give me email i will send u tool for convert multi to uop. But i also tested on retail and orion client which can use multi.mul and multi.idx and result was same. Thats why i think something in fiddler. |
You can attach the tool here ;) well I was checking 3-4 client versions and besides being unable to repack multicollection.uop everything else works fine. I don't see any issues. What emulator do you use? |
I attached convertor. I play on retail, not on emulator. So i just logging on retail server and look on house)) With Classic client (and convertedmul to uop) and on Orion client (with multi.idx and multi.mul without even convertation to uop) i have same result like on my image. P.S. If need can share tool source too its on cpp. |
Again it works after repack so I'm not sure what's the problem with retail servers or what kind of magic they do. I can't really reproduce this. As I can't really test it on official server it's a bit of a mystery to me how this may happen. In my tests all looks ok. that is latest client using your packer tool. btw. can you share the source too? :) |
This tool look interresting. It's a prospect for a pluggins :-) |
