ImageIt position of the sensor from variable/query

Dear Friends,

We are trying to solve the following feature with the ImageIt plugin. We want to put a sensor on the background image and set the x, y coordinates of the sensor not manually but based on the variable or influx (or any other) DB query. We are trying to modify the JSON of the panel, but with no luck. When we put the variable into JSON like follows:

New variables appeared in the variable menu but when we are trying to set like constants the ImageIt plugin keeps the sensor on the previous poistion (or 0,0).

Any help will be much appreciated.
