Migrate to official Asana API?

Is there a technical or design reason why this project is not using the official Python Asana API (https://github.com/Asana/python-asana)?

It didn't exist when the project was created, though good find.

Any interest in migration to this API? I would be willing to contribute, but would like to know whether there is some other reason that you might prefer to stick with the current approach

By all means go for it! Unfortunately I don't see myself getting around to do this anytime soon (especially because it's still currently working).
