@osuosl/web-reviewers I know we've discussed putting social media links in the "contact us" section, but it might be worthwhile to have those links in a more viewable spot as well. Maybe the footer? As suggested by @jldugger

Was this intentionally removed at some point? I see twitter in the pelicanconf and theme sidebars, for example.

Note that I'm okay with that if that was intentional. But a bit confused on why.

In regards to the OSL page, we took it down because we removed the sidebar altogether. The initial plan was to put it in our "contact us" page along with IRC and Github pages, but that hasn't happened yet and I'm not sure it's particularly obvious to visitors that's where we'd post our social media links. I would argue for including social media in the footer, but that's just me. I'm open to other thoughts.
