PvP participation and BG + Arena reward balance.

Recently the CC dev team has taken a direction of incentivising people joining BGs by rewarding arena points for doing so, beyond the blizzlike CTA bonus. While trying to increase PvP participation is a laudable goal, doing so by providing a huge chunk of arena points cannibalizes arena, which is struggling even worse then BGs are. With the new changes, you can make 280 arena points per week without stepping foot into arena at all. That's roughly as much as an active arena team with less than 1500 rating gets! If you want to introduce more arena points into the system, which is probably a good idea because getting a full set of gear is a massive grind with the current state of things, then please make these come from arena instead. Something like an arena CTA system that picks a different bracket (2v2,3v3,5v5) each week(end?) and rewards a nice chunk of AP for the first win of the day really has the potential to breath some life back into rated PvP.

Anyway, there's plenty of BiS PvP gear that is only available from honor, which comes overwhelmingly from BGs, and Blizzard designed Arena to be just the same, with it's own, exclusive rewards. This state of affairs should be restored and then preserved. So in concrete terms, what I suggest is: Remove Arena points for daylie wins and shift these points to a system that incentivises Arena participation like the one I brought up above. If you feel there need to be more AP rewarded in general then make the new system more rewarding.

Since more Ap earned and an uptick of activity might make AP pile up, I'd also like to see some kind of dump option added to the vendors that allows trading AP for crafting ressources and/or gold, a system that by itself might also drive participation.
Lastly, awarding chromie points for joining arena, just like taking part in BGs, might be something to explore.
