I see that Borsh claims that it gains performance by opting out of Serde compatibility and writing its own BorshSerialize/BorshDeserialize traits. My question is, what exactly is the bottleneck that Serde introduces that Borsh couldn't avoid? My understanding is that Serde should essentially inline away, so I'm curious which parts of it fail to do that.
