A Better alternative to ENB #3935
Comments
Won't ever happen for security reasons |
i've heard this many times, but what security reasons? |
If you want to improve visuals, there's also ambient occlusion, or shader resource alternative |
that already exists in ENB and it's not as well done as renderhook's. also ENB hates shaders |
That naturally won't be shared for... security reasons. Frankly, I don't know either. Likely is done to help prevent cheaters, can't have it both ways unfortunately... |
i feel like i'm being told "security reasons" as an excuse, cheaters still exist and will always exist, this excuse is making adding renderhook sound like the cheater's launcher or smth LOL |
Whats the point of having last gen graphics on a 20 year old game?? |
you have a low end pc don't you |
Honestly off-topic. There are reasons for this, and they won't be shared with you, nor me. Deal with it and move on |
you're 100% right, and the reason is they can't be bothered. |
Border told us in the past that they were looking into allowing Renderhook/ReShade on MTA, with limited features due it being easy to use and exploit by cheaters. |
hopefully |
Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
Yes, disabling Renderhook limits graphical options and perfomance. ENB isn’t even good for high-end PC let alone a low-end PC, and the game feels outdated without better visuals.
Describe the solution you'd like
Allow Renderhook again and running Mta with Directx11 which is best we could have especially for perfomance reasons and visuals, and address any security issues while this feature remains working.
Describe alternatives you've considered
Using ENB, but it’s not a good option due to performance drops and limited graphical features.
Additional context
My High-end PC if you will..; i5 12400f + 24gb Ram + RX 5700xt 8gb Vram, overall this only generates about 30 fps and sometimes even lower. all of this for visuals no where near looking as good as Renderhook.
