Folks want control over what's in the headers and footers of PDFs. eg costume.org wants it for the Mayer Magazine, but earlier someone wanted them remove entirely from a classic PDF.

I think other software have inputs for each area, and we could use shortcodes for special content like page numbers or metadata.
