I have used Timeshift successfully in Arch chroot in the past, but the last time I had a system crash, none of my snapshots were there at the critical time I needed them. After I fixed my system problem, I still could not get the snapshots to display in chroot, even though they were visible when booting and logging in normally.
Steps to reproduce the behavior:
Verify snapshots are available when normally logged in, either in the GUI or from console.
Boot using Arch live disk and chroot into the installation, properly mounting all mount points.
Run 'timeshift --restore' to view available snapshots. If it fails, try again using 'timeshift --list --snapshot-device /dev/sdax' (or use UUID).
Verify backup device UUID in /etc/timeshift/timeshift.json to ensure it matches the location of snapshots
Expected behavior
What should happen is the same snapshots shown when normally logged in should be the same in chroot.
System:
Arch 6.6.65-1-lts
Desktop KDE
Application Version 24.06.5
