Implement the Composition API

The task here is to finish implementation of the Composition KEP. The subtasks are as follows;

• Convert resources and components to be backed by a reusable generator #4402
• Enable built-in generators to be used in the transformers field #4403
• Enable explicitly invoked transformers to use default fieldSpecs #4404
• Finish implementation of Composition implementation prototype #4323. This should probably be broken into multiple PRs.
