I double checked to make sure it wouldn't be some network config/firewall/vlan issue but the device is installed on my main lan and shouldn't be restricted. But just in case, what is the http request it's trying to do ? Connexion between HA and the device ? |

Yes, meross_lan typically uses HTTP to connect locally to devices (or MQTT if you pair them on a private broker). I'm still trying to understand what's going on with your MSL320 and in the meantime I've fixed an issue related to the device address (ip) management by meross_lan but I'm not sure it is the same issue as your. Keep in touch! |

1 question: Did you put a 'proper' key in device configuration when you setup meross_lan device entry? If not, that might be an issue since newer devices (and firmwares) look like really want a proper key in order to communicate (meross_lan uses an hack to overcome this so it could work even with empty/wrong key but a lot of issues recently have been rised right because of this trick not working anymore) |

meross_lan will provide you the meross cloud login form in order to automatically retrieve it from your account configuration. Not sure this will fix the issue but it is definitely a step that could help |

I followed the steps. Remove the config, restarted HA to be sure. Well..this is crazy..it just looks the strip accepts and replies commands even with the wrong key. meross_lan needs a 'proper' error code from the device in order to bring you to the meross cloud login/retrieval form so it looks like this is not the case: 'it just works' btw..are the basic light features working? If you're on meross_lan 3.2.3 I've fixed a possible source of issues beside the key in there so maybe the msl320 is now working because of that (I'm just crossing fingers) |

I tried the integration with the MSL320 Pro (Smart Wi-Fi LED Light Strip) but sadly it didn't work.
The device is discovered as msl320 cpr 4.0.0 but displayed as unavailable in the entity.
As soon as I add the device, it gets unavailable. It looks like it does when I try to interact with it.
Any way to make it work ?
