HA local mqtt binding

Hi Guys,

I'm trying to go local mqtt with my Meross devices.

Whenever I'm trying to set ha mosquito broker address as below:

I'm getting that reply in mosquito logs:

Any idea what am I doing wrong or have missed it in configuration?

Have you tried using *:8883 as the binding port ?
Meross devices expect to use TLS over MQTT and your broker should be configured so in order to allow for correct communication.
Port 1883 is usually defaulted to be unencripted while 8883 is usually configured for TLS traffic.
Meross devices don't really care which port number you're using, they just expect that to be an encripted endpoint (beside other requirements like authentication)

Hi and thank you for quick response.
Forgotten to mention that they HomeKit compatible.
Should It be that an issue?
