Should this project be renamed to better show that it is an independed fork of the xsd2code that can be found at codeplex?

I would vote yes but please come with input.

I think it could help identifying this fork to rename it but if possible by keeping the original name in the new one ? (something like xsd2code_continued ... too bad the paid version is called ++)

Suggestions then...

  • xsd2code_continued
  • namespace wise continued.xsd2code
  • Open Xsd2Code
  • xsd2net
  • CodeFromXsd (rather fond of the play with words in this one)
  • XsdCodeGen
  • XsdNetGen
  • Community Edition xsd2code (could be CE.Xsd2Code or something in the namespace)
  • Libre xsd2code
  • ...

Should it be something we could use in the namespace as well?
Or what do you think?

If we are leaving the namespace as us, why not going for Open Xsd2Code?

Steps to implement would be

  • Change the repository to open_xsd2code
  • Change all "visible" names to Open Xsd2Code. (Assemblyinfo, vsixmanifest etc)
  • Change README to properly display the new name and clarify where it came from.
  • Some new logo / icon for it

I am a bit reluctant to rename the repository. I'll leave it for now
