Hi all,
I really love the fact that you can add 3rd party camera's to Unifi Protect. At the moment I have a client which has about 41 camera's.
Mobotix, Vivotek and for testing a Reolink camera. I have it working well with Unifi Protect but the next stage is getting motion to work.
I have no experience with Frigate and I even have found a Youtube project with Motion and Raspberry Pi but that one was short.
Is there a way to use Motion, Frigate or something else to get motion to work on Unifi Protect? I use the latest version of Unifi Protect (2.7.34) and the DEV version via Docker for Unifi-cam-proxy.
Here is the Youtube link of someone using Unifi-cam-proxy + Motion for their Raspberry Pi camera. I see that motion has network camera support and in the Youtube I see that he has motion working in Unifi.
Please, if someone can give me pointers that would be great.
Cheers,
Steve
