issue with exploration contracts with galaxies unbound

after my first flyby of eve, i got the next exploration contract, but it was to do a flyby of a far-off sun that i couldn't reach at my current level, i tried refusing the contract but it just returned after a second, i accepted it then used the debug menu to complete it, and it came back again, it seems i cant really progress now

I doubt this has anything to do with Contract Configurator. Whether it's stock or CC, these contacts tend to be based in the progress system. So without making complete in the progress system, you'll keep getting the contract. Of course, if you do complete in the progress system, you'll just start getting even more difficult contracts.
