Extra blank page when using insert=fullpage

I am using lyluatex in my LaTeX document. I am using a combination of insert=systems (default) and insert=fullpage when calling \begin{lilypond}.

When I use insert=fullpage, I get an extra blank page inserted after the lilypond document. So if the fullpage lilypond score ends on a left page, there is an extra blank page added on the right page, then LaTeX adds a blank page on the left (default for book class), and then the next section starts on the following right page. So two extra blank pages!

How can I eliminate the blank page that is automatically inserted after a \begin{lilypond}[insert=fullpage]?
