Attempting to pull upstream changes and reduce conflicts

Describe the solution you'd like
S providing an option to add an individual file to a new git stash or amend the last stash in the stack

Describe alternatives you've considered
Adding files to staging and then stashing them.

I feel that it's not necessary to add this, since it's already possible by staging the files you want to stash and then hitting S s. This has the advantage that it works for any selection of files (or even individual hunks within a file), whereas your proposal would only work for single files or contiguous multiselections.

And this is a great example of something that could be solved by a custom command.
