This pipeline is using particular retry try catch structure, because of https://issues.jenkins.io/browse/JENKINS-51454 as noted in the comment on the first line

This issue has been since resolved by jenkinsci/workflow-basic-steps-plugin#144, this pipeline should be rewritten in consequence.
