I am a huge fan of OnlySwitch and I want to take a moment to express my gratitude for this amazing tool!
Describe the bug
After enabling the “Stay Awake” feature in OnlySwitch, the Mac is unable to sleep, even after disabling the “Stay Awake” option. The system is stuck in an awake state, and sleep-related commands from the terminal fail to work as expected.
To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:
Go to OnlySwitch settings.
Enable the “Keep Awake” option and choose “Never.”
In the OnlySwitch menu bar, enable the “Stay Awake” option.
Observe that the system will no longer go to sleep, even after disabling the “Stay Awake” option, force quit OnlySwitch and rebooting the system. See workaround for manuel fix.
Terminal Output:
When attempting to manually put the system to sleep via terminal commands:
$ pmset sleepnow
Unable to sleep system: error 0xe00002e2
Expected behavior
After disabling the “Stay Awake” option, the system should be able to enter sleep mode as expected.
