Is there any debian/ubuntu repo for this? I would love to use it on Ubuntu 18.04, but I currently see no easy way of doing this.

In the end I used the pecl install, but an apt package would still be easier.

I built a package for this a number of years ago, but it was only available internally to our org. We've now updated the package and made it public with a PPA.

The packaging is at https://gitlab.com/suqld-public/php-timecop-debian and the PPA is at https://launchpad.net/~suqld/+archive/ubuntu/php-timecop

Feel free to ping me with merge requests for new versions, new distributions etc.
